For the Cats

Our feline friends have not been domesticated for as long as their canine counterparts. Could that be due to their free spirited nature or their independence? It is thought that they were 1st domesticated in the Middle East about 9,500 years ago to help farmers keep rodents out of their barns.

Now they are thought to be the most popular pet in history! Cats have certainly found their way into our hearts.
