Shahad joined our team at Campus Estates Animal Hospital in 2022 as a new grad Veterinary Technician after graduating with honours from Seneca College.

Her passion towards learning and being with animals showed ever since she was a kid and it continued to grow with her and led her to this path of becoming a compassionate caregiver to all of the amazing species of animals. She started her career path as an Animal Care Attendant and worked at a general practice for 6 years, which made her realize this is the most perfect career for her and continued to pursue her education. She has a special love for exotics and feels very grateful to have the opportunity to learn more about these fascinating creatures with the guidance of our experienced staff at CEAH to provide the proper medical care for them.

She shares her home with her trouble-maker chocolate lab, Taz, her siamese cat, Miley, and her creepy-crawly tarantula, Wasabi. On her free days, she loves to spend time in nature hiking with her dog or camping in forests with plenty of wildlife to enjoy.
