Dr. Tanya Hnatejko completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Biology from the University of Guelph in 2013. She then went on to complete a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2017. Tanya started working as a veterinarian at Campus Estates Animal Hospital in October 2019. Prior to that, she was working at a small animal clinic in the GTA where she quickly became passionate about preventive care and building relationships with clients.
She also has a special interest in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine. Tanya is always up for a challenge when it comes to furthering her clinical skills, which is why she often has several continuing education courses on the go. Originally from Etobicoke,
Tanya now resides in Guelph with her husband (Jason), dog (OV), cat (Alley), and bearded dragon (Bossk). Tanya and her husband enjoy travelling; their most notable trips include Australia, France, Germany, and the UK. In her spare time, Tanya enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, being outdoors, and going to the gym.
