Alec joined the team at Campus Estates Animal Hospital as a veterinary student in 2015. While studying, he gained hands-on experience behind the scenes as a veterinary assistant. Alec graduated from veterinary school in 2018 and began working as a veterinarian at Campus Estates.

Alec grew up near Belleville, Ontario, where he spent most of his childhood outdoors. Alec’s love for nature followed him to adulthood. He currently enjoys spending his summers camping, fishing and hiking. Alec has always been interested in animals and grew up with a variety of pets – cats, dogs, rats, birds and especially reptiles. Alec has a passion for reptiles and loves learning about their life in the wild and care in captivity. He always has a few different species at home in Guelph – seen here with one of his bearded dragons.
