For as long as she can remember, Dr. Kendra Liteplo wanted to be a veterinarian. Her childhood dream came true when she graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College (with distinction) in 2014. Prior to that she completed a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Biological Sciences at the University of Guelph.
Kendra first joined the team at Campus Estates Animal Hospital in September 2008 as a receptionist and veterinary assistant. She worked throughout each school year, gaining valuable experience in general and emergency companion animal and exotic species practice. Since practicing high quality veterinary medicine with a caring team and dedicated clients is very important to Kendra, she very excited to continue at Campus Estates as a veterinarian. Kendra’s list of clinical interests is long, but if she had to choose a couple she would include emergency and critical care medicine, emergency surgery, and of course, internal medicine. Upon graduation, she was honored to receive the ACVIM Certificate of Clinical Excellence in Small Animal Internal Medicine – awarded to students who show sincere interest, and outstanding didactic and clinical expertise in internal medicine.
In her spare time, Kendra enjoys a good and a long walk. She shares her home in Guelph with her two rescue cats, Khan and Karl. She travels back to her hometown of Ottawa, Ontario as much as she can to visit her beloved golden retriever, Parker. Her other furry friends in Ottawa include Snowy, an energetic Collie mix, two Percheron horses and a few Scottish Highland cattle.
