Chelsey started working at Campus Estates in late November 2023 as an RVT. She graduated from the Vet Tech program at the University of Guelph Ridgetown Campus in 2015 though she didn’t start working in a vet clinic right away. Instead she continued to further her education and eventually completed her Bachelors Degree in agriculture, with a major in Animal Science in 2021. Chelsey has always had a great interest in working with and learning about all type of animals, from large animals (especially horses) to small animals such as cats, dogs and pocket pets. She also has a great interest in learning about various wildlife and zoo animals. No matter the animal there is always something new to learn. Chelsey is excited and grateful for the opportunity to work at Campus Estates as it allows her to continuously learn and gain experience working with all kinds of animals while building on her skills as an RVT.

At home she has a 7 month old Tortie kitten named Twig who runs the house. Twigs favourite past-time is playing fetch with her rattle mouse toys, especially once her mum is hunkered down under the covers ready for bed! In her spare time, Chelsey enjoys crocheting various stuffed animals (mostly dragons), drawing (mostly animals and dragons) and playing video games.
