Meaghan joined our team as a veterinary assistant in May of 2018. She had always wanted to working with animals in some capacity but shortly joining the team here she knew that she wanted to take her education one step further and returned to school for the Registered Veterinary Technician program at the University of Guelph Ridgetown.
Meaghan graduated as an RVT in June of 2021 and rejoined our team full-time in her new role. Meaghan really enjoys the excitement and challenges that come with emergency medicine as it provides a constant opportunity for learning. In the future she hopes to potentially move into tertiary care or ICU. When she’s not hustling and bustling as part of our emergency team, she enjoys much slower paced activities in her downtime such as embroidery, knitting, crochet and puzzles in the company of her 3 adopted cats Luna, Hanna and Autumn.
