Erika is the Exotics Technician at Campus Estates, having joined the team in 2011. She has taken on additional responsibilities that include managing volunteers and co-op students, record keeping, and she is a member of the clinic health & safety committee.

Erika is a graduate of the Animal Care program at Sheridan College (2004), the Registered Veterinary Technician program (2007) and Advanced Wildlife Technician program (2009) at Seneca College. She has also completed both Basic Skills (2008) and Beyond Basic Skills (2012) courses from the Ontario Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Network. Believing in the importance of continuing education, Erika is always pursuing new opportunities to expand to her knowledge and skills.

Erika lives in the country with her furniture maker husband and their two Boxers – Crash & Leah, Cockatiel – Merlin, Budgie – Polo and Harris Hawk – Clara.

Outside of the clinic Erika is heavily involved in the sport of falconry as an active member and volunteer with the Ontario Hawking Club.
