Isabelle Aubert, DVM, MVetSc, Diplomate ACVIM

Dr. Isabelle Aubert obtained her DVM from the University of Montreal in 1995 where she completed an internship in 1996. Following a year in private practice, she began a residency and DVSc in small animal internal medicine at the University of Guelph VTH. She completed her residency and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, specialty internal medicine, in 2002. Following completion of her residency, Isabelle worked as a staff clinician in internal medicine and principal clinician in oncology at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of the Ontario Veterinary College. She has been practicing internal medicine in private practice since 2004, first with the Mississauga-Oakville Veterinary Referral Group and, since 2005, through her mobile service of consultations in internal medicine. She finds tremendous enjoyment in traveling from clinic to clinic, whether it be to perform procedures such as ultrasound or endoscopic examinations, or review complex cases of internal medicine. It is a great opportunity to work in collaboration with devoted teams of family clinicians and animal caregivers, while allowing more time for in-depth review of patients’ cases. The thorough patient follow-up that caring family veterinarians provide her with is an excellent form of continuing education!

Palo Porzio, DVM, MVetSc, Diplomate ACVIM

Dr. Porzio is a board-certified Specialist in Veterinary Internal Medicine with degrees from the University of Parma, the University of Saskatchewan and diplomate status from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM). In addition to his work as an Internal Medicine Specialist, Dr. Porzio has taught Veterinary Internal Medicine at the University of Guelph, Ontario Veterinary College. Dr. Porzio comes to our clinic for ultrasounds of both dogs and cats. He is also available for consultation of cases.
